The name Folasade Olanusi might sound relatively unfamiliar to the average Nigerian football fan especially within women's football cycle in Nigeria
Folasade Olanusi was born in Ilutitun, Okitipupa local government area of Ondo State on March 26, 2009
She is a professional footballer who plays as a attacker for Onimag Football Academy of Akure.
Folasade in a recent chat with Sportsgister narrated how she started her football career.
"l started playing with boys in the street,many people felt l was serious.
"People started taking me when l led my secondary school MMGS to a female final many years ago
"Although l never enjoyed my parents' support initially but my parents are now backing me
Folasade said Asisat Oshoala is her role model
"Asisat Oshoala has always been my role model and her career progress always been an inspiration to me," she said.
"Her achievements are motivating me to remain focused on attaining such a great height, beginning at the next U-20 Women's World Cup.
Folasade hopes to represent Nigeria soon and play beyond the shores of Nigeria
"I will keep fighting to reach stardom.
"I am hopeful to get a chance to play in outside Nigeria and represent national team soon.
Folasade recently participated in YSFON U-14 Female football tournament held in Enugu State.
