JUST IN:Finnish police release Biafra agitator, Simon Ekpa

Simon Ekpa, the self-acclaimed disciple of Nnamdi Kanu – leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has been released by Finnish police.

Uniquereporters report that Ekpa was arrested on Thursday, in Finland over his role in fueling violence in South East of Nigeria ahead of the 2023 general elections.

One local journalist confirmed to BBC that Ekpa was released after being interrogated for hours.

The Biafra agitator has also taken to his Twitter handle for a live broadcast, where he celebrated a “successful first day sit-at-home in the South-East”.
