IYDF Suspends Newly Crowned Miss Ilutitun

Ilutitun Youth Development Forum has suspended the newly crowned Miss Ilutitun Olowosusi Temitope for attempting to bring the name of the town to disrepute.

It would be recalled that Olowosusi Temitope was on last Saturday crowned after beating three other contestants

The suspension letter released by the forum reads:

It has been brought to our notice that the newly crowned Miss Ilutitun and her friends went to Ogundubuja High School, Okitipupa yesterday to have a fight with some other persons.

Having established the fact with pictorial and video evidences, and seen that Miss Olowosusi Temitope acted without considering the position she holds, we have decided to instantly and immediately suspend her from parading herself as Miss Ilutitun. 

All paraphernalia of office and benefits therein are hereby withdrawn pending when the panel of inquiry submits their report.

The office of Miss Ilutitun should be an institution for good behavior and role model for girls/ladies in terms of character building, respect for elders, regard for laid down rules and regulations.

 It is expected of the occupant of such institution to eschew behaviors that may tarnish the image of IYDF and Ilutitun at large. Any unruly and uncultured behaviors are not to be accepted and tolerated.

It is on this premise that, Miss Olowosusi Temitope should immediately hand over every property of the IYDF and Miss Ilutitun with her to Mr Akintade Omokunle, on or before 8pm today, January 4, 2022.

Failure to do so shall attract more sanctions.
